70s and not a snowflake in sight!

We just watched a video that my parents sent us of my dad shoveling all the amazing, beautiful snow that they got in the NY area.  Here it is beautiful and warm but I have to say that the kids and I really, really miss the snow!!

Here are the pictures that we took last week that I promised to put up on the blog, they are of us at the Biblical Zoo in Yerushalayim last week.

Here are the pictures that we took last week at the monkey park.  The pictures are of the kids doing the usual things there but then there are some of them making candles:

That covers all the pictures that we took over Chanukah.

Last night (Sat. night) I took Eric out for his birthday, which was on Friday.  Unfortunately, the place that we tried to go to, Cafe Tapuz, where we wanted to go for our anniversary also but just never made it, was CLOSED!!!  We drove all the way there!!  So instead we went to Ra’anana and went to a regular cafe that we could have just gone to in Modiin!

Today Eric and I went to see another community that we might move to.  It’s called Mazkeret Batya and it’s near Rechovot.  It was nice but we know nothing about it.  We have to look into it further…

Later on, after school, Eitan came over to play with Ben.  It was great.  They played really nicely together and it made the afternoon go quickly.

I vacuumed the car out today.  A couple of weeks ago my grandmother bought Talia and Ben both these stress balls that were basically balloons filled with powder. Talia’s exploded in the car on the way home and I never really gave it a good cleaning out.  Today I did!  Now the car is powder free, yipee!

Keren had fallen asleep in the car on the way home from Mazkeret Batya and then wouldn’t transfer into her crib and then when Ben came home with a friend wee gave up on the hope of giving her a nap.  Tonight I had to run to the doctor to ask him a question about Talia’s vaccinations. When I came home I saw that Eric put Keren on the couch with a movie while he was playing with Talia and while Ben was watching The Lion King in the playroom.  After about 5 minutes of watching her she fell asleep.  She was ADORABLE!!  I meant to take a picture but Eric, Talia and I were in the middle of a heated game of Set, Talia’s new favorite game that we got her for Chanukah.

Tomorrow Eric goes back to Ulpan and the kids go to school and I have Keren all to myself again.  What shall we do…
